This Privacy Policy explains what information We Simplify Complexity ("we", "us") collects when you visit this website or purchase a software license, and how we use it.

1. Information We Collect

  • Purchase information: when you buy a license, our payment processor (e.g. Stripe) collects your name, email, and payment details to complete the transaction. We receive your name, email, and order details, but not your full card number.
  • Contact information: if you contact us for support, we collect what you send us (e.g. name, email, message content).
  • Local preferences: this site may store display preferences in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device and are not sent to us.

2. How We Use Information

  • To deliver purchased licenses and downloads
  • To provide customer support
  • To send license-related or transactional emails (e.g. receipts, renewal reminders)
  • To comply with legal and accounting obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Product-Specific Data & Permissions

We build several kinds of software, and each kind handles data differently:

Chrome extensions. Our extensions run in your browser and do not send your browsing activity to our servers. Depending on what an extension does, it may request browser permissions such as: storage (to save your settings locally in your browser), activeTab or tabs (to read or act on the page you're viewing when you use the extension, e.g. generating a QR code or adjusting video playback speed), scripting (to add on-page functionality, e.g. code-block navigation or pixel measurement), contextMenus (to add right-click menu options), downloads (to save a file you request, e.g. an exported QR code or downloaded PDF), and webNavigation (to detect page changes the extension needs to respond to). The exact permissions requested are listed on each extension's Chrome Web Store page before you install it.

Desktop applications. Tools like Invoice Renamer process your files locally on your own device. OCR runs offline after an initial one-time model download; the files you process and their contents are never uploaded to our servers.

SaaS platforms. Hosted products (e.g. PanelQA, Gudaru Accounting) collect the account information you provide (name, email, company details) and the data you enter to use the service (e.g. tender listings, invoices, team details). This data is stored on servers operated for that specific product and is used only to provide the service to you.

4. Third-Party Services

We use third-party providers to operate this business, such as payment processing (e.g. Stripe), analytics (Google Analytics), and hosting. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies and applicable data protection agreements.

5. Data Retention

We retain purchase and support records for as long as needed to provide the license, meet legal/tax obligations, and resolve disputes.

6. Your Rights
